General Care Instructions for Stainless Steel Products

Regular Cleaning

Use warm water and a soft cloth or sponge: For routine cleaning, mild dish soap and warm water are sufficient.

Rinse and dry thoroughly: Always rinse off any soap residue and dry the surface to prevent water spots.

Deep Cleaning

Use a stainless steel cleaner or a baking soda paste (baking soda + water): Apply with a soft cloth, following the grain of the steel.

Avoid using abrasive pads or steel wool: These can scratch the surface and lead to rust.

Polishing

Use a microfiber cloth and a stainless steel polish or olive oil to restore shine.

Always polish with the grain (you’ll see faint lines in one direction—follow those).

What to Avoid

Harsh chemicals or bleach: Can cause staining or corrosion.

Chloride-containing cleaners: Especially in industrial or poolside settings.

Salt buildup: Rinse off any salt residues quickly, especially on marine-grade (316) stainless steel.

Special Tips

For Kitchenware (Cookware, Utensils):

Avoid high heat when empty — it can cause discoloration.

To remove burnt-on food, soak in hot soapy water or use a vinegar-baking soda mix.

Dishwasher safe (mostly), but handwashing extends the lifespan.

For Appliances:

Use glass cleaner or a vinegar-water mix to remove fingerprints.

Apply a protective stainless steel spray for a fingerprint-resistant finish.

For Outdoor Stainless Steel (Grills, Railings, etc.):

Clean more frequently due to exposure to elements.

Apply a protective wax or silicone spray to prevent corrosion.

Rust or Stain Removal

Use a non-abrasive cleaner or a paste of baking soda and water.

For stubborn spots, use a product like Bar Keepers Friend or a stainless steel rust remover.

Rinse thoroughly and dry.
